Cleaner accused of stabbing co-worker

cleaner has been accused of stabbing his co-worker following a heated argument, a court heard yesterday.

The argument started when the Pakistani victim, who was carrying meat supplies into the refrigerated storeroom of a Bur Dubai restaurant, felt that the cleaner, who had been cutting onions, was blocking his path. When asked to move, the defendant refused. This led to a heated argument that degenerated into a fight in which the victim was stabbed. The defendant has denied the charges. (Staff Report)
