Arab Souq Walk and The Flight of The Falcon

The Shaikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) has launched a new tour, designed to enable the visitor to soak in the culture. The walk starts along the creek, through the textile market, passing the dhows and taking in the culture of Al Fahidi and Bur Dubai. Upon reaching Heritage House, visitors interact inside one of the original houses of the royal family at the Wild Flight birds of prey centre in Heritage Village, where they will gain first-hand knowledge and get the opportunity to call selected birds on to their fist. Here, they will also meet the greater spotted eagle, the white-faced owl, the Harris hawk, desert eagle owl and the barn owl. Available on Mondays at 2.45pm and Wednesdays at 9.45am, Dh200 (minimum of 10 people).
