Suicide suspected in visitor’s death

53-year-old Asian man was found dead in Sharjah after he reportedly consumed chemicals to commit suicide on Sunday, Sharjah Police said. The man died four hours after he consumed the chemicals. The incident happened in the industrial area number 1 around 11am.

The Bangladeshi man, who was identified as M.M.K., had entered the country on visit visa, He suffered from first degree burns due to chemical intake and was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital. (Staff Report)
