Holiday for UAE ministries announced

The

public sector will get a one-day holiday on Sunday, November 18, to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The public holiday was approved by the Cabinet yesterday. Ministries and federal authorities will remain closed on Sunday instead of Tuesday, November 20. Work will resume on Monday, November 19. The Prophet’s birthday is celebrated annually on the 12th of Rabi Al Awwal, according to the Islamic calendar. (WAM)
