Private sector holiday on November 18

The

Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that Sunday, November 18, will be a holiday for private sector companies.

The announcement was made by Nasser Bin Thani Al Hameli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, following the UAE Cabinet decision to mark Sunday as a public holiday, instead of Tuesday, November 20, which is expected to mark Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) birthday.

This will mean a threeday weekend for the private sector. (WAM)
