Hamdan lauds teams behind UAE ranking
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, met with teams from the Dubai Government and the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, whose hard work resulted in the UAE ranking 11th worldwide in the 2019 World Bank Ease of Doing Business report.
Shaikh Hamdan said that this achievement was made possible through unified efforts and teamwork on the local and federal levels. He indicated that this accomplishment is a new step forward in the UAE’s rapid development and efforts to exemplify the leadership’s vision, which aims for the UAE to be the top country in the world in all fields.
“Through our strength, determination and ambitions, we will be able to achieve our targets, continue to bolster our infrastructure and develop our capabilities.
“We will accept nothing except being ranked first. We are all partners in this responsibility towards our nation,” said Shaikh Hamdan.
“It is our duty to preserve our accomplishments and build on them to meet the aspirations of our people and reaffirm that our leadership was not merely a coincidence, but rather the results of wise planning for strategic goals that foresee the future,” he added. “The UAE’s experience is now a role model, and we are confidently moving forward towards the future through the wise leadership’s vision.”
Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, and other officials attended the meeting.
