Man dies after jumping from metro station

An unidentified man committed suicide by jumping from the first floor of a metro station in Hyderabad yesterday, police said.

The incident occurred at Ameerpet Metro Station. He sustained head injuries and died on the spot. The body is at the Gandhi Hospital mortuary.

This is the second such incident at a metro station in the city this week. A woman jumped from Victoria Memorial Metro Station in Secunderabad on Tuesday. She, however, survived with injuries. (IANS)
