Festival of Lights

Mark the Indian festival where hostesses wearing traditional sarees will welcome guests, hosting a variety of entertainment acts, including traditional dandiya and banghra and dhol (drum) troops. Craft workshops for children to try their hands at rangoli, that uses coloured powders to create decorative patterns, as well as learn how to make paper lanterns, all under the guidance of talented artists. Kids will be entertained with carnival games, a roaming magician and hourly puppet shows, along with paper-plate rangoli and paper lantern making activities. At Bay Avenue, Business Bay, 5-10pm.
