Ajman Police yesterday warned motorists about how vehicle decorations and driving dangerously can result in a hefty Dh2,000 fine, 23 black points and a vehicle being impounded for 60 days.

Motorists were also cautioned against parking in the middle of the road.

Stopping at a taxi or bus stop will result in a Dh1,000 fine and six black points.

Vehicles that have been modified for speed or to raise the car’s noise levels will result in owners getting a Dh2,000 fine and 12 black points.

“It is prohibited for drivers to hold their own rallies [or] to ride horses or camels on the roads,” said Ajman Police, adding that such violations will attract a Dh500 fine, four black points and where a car is involved, impoundment for 15 days.
