Shurooq is out to revitalise Sharjah’s old destinations
The latest addition to the project is The Chedi Al Bait
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is out to create a uniquely localised experience, using sustainable materials in what remained of a stone structure constructed during the 1960s.
Developed under the “Sharjah Collection” brand, and operated by Mysk by Shaza, Shurooq has transformed the site into a boutique luxury destination.
The latest addition to the revitalisation project is The Chedi Al Bait, the emirate’s first five-star luxury and heritage hotel developed by Shurooq and managed by GHM.
The property is built on the original foundations of old 19th century coral stone houses.
