Iraq to inventory hazardous material

Iraq yesterday said it will create an inventory of hazardous material at ports and airports. An emergency committee chaired by the head of Iraq’s border agency has been tasked with the work and has given itself 72 hours to complete it.

The goal was to “avoid any repetition of what happened in Lebanon”, the panel said.
