CAPTAIN MORGAN’S UAE CONNECTION AND CUMMINS’ SHORT DIGIT

-

oin Morgan, who has taken over as the captain of KKR, has done what he always did in the UAE. He has always led the team that he played for in the UAE, and everyone here addresses him as Captain Morgan. He had captained Kerala Knights in the T10 League. He was also the skipper of this squad when it was called Kerala Kings ( pictured left batting for the team) and had led them to the title triumph in the inaugural 2017 edition. In the 2019 T10 League, Morgan was appointed captain of Delhi Bulls. He has also captained the England T20 team in a series against Pakistan that was played here and led the Karachi Kings in the 2018 Pakistan Super League.

CUMMINS’ SHORT FINGER AND LONG LIST OF FEATS

Every year, since Pat Cummins made his first- class debut at the age of 17, he has achieved something significant. He made his Test debut at the age of 18, at 19 he got signed up for the Big Bash in Australia. Within a year he got signed up for the IPL and then got selected for Australia for the 2015 World Cup. If you watch his fingers closely the next time he bowls, you will notice that the middle finger on his right hand is of the same length as that of his index finger. When Cummins was three years old, his sister had accidentally slammed the door on his finger resulting in him losing a centimetre of the injured finger.
