Year of 50: LuLu celebrates with 50-day promotions
Leading retailer also launching various CSR initiatives to mark the momentous occasion
As UAE prepares to celebrate its Golden Jubilee this year, the leading retailer LuLu Hypermarket is getting ready to launch various promotional and CSR initiatives to mark the momentous occasion. “UAE PROUD 50” will be the unifying theme for the next 50 days till December 9 across the 87 stores in the UAE.
Some of the key promotions during the 50-day campaign:
During these 50 days of #LuLuCelebratesUAE, everyday 50 products will be priced at 50 per cent discount, from grocery to digital and electronics, and fashion. The products and categories will change regularly to offer variety and options to shoppers.
All shoppers spending Dh100 will get a chance to win a total of 2.5 kilo of gold (50 winners x 50gms each). This campaign is in partnership with Kalyan Jewellers.
Lulu’s biggest tech promotion “DigiTech” will start on October 26 and offer many mega deals on mobile phones,
electronic items, cameras, IT accessories and gadgets. Apart from deals, LuLu is also launching Exchange Festival for mobiles, TVs and laptops.
Shoppers can look forward to a fantastic range and amazing offers on ethnic fashion, delicious sweets and snacks. This year, we have introduced special packages for bulk and corporate orders for Diwali sweets. LuLu is also launching a special Diwali Gift Card on this occasion.
The Super Friday promotion focusing primarily on electronics, mobiles and gadgets will be launched on November 23.
In order to further promote the local agriculture & manufacturing sectors, LuLu will be organising a special festival “Proudly from UAE” in all hypermarkets across the country. Special focus will be on promoting organic products and sustainable farming.
As part of CSR policy, Lulu is joining hands with Emirates Red Crescent and Reach Campaign to launch the “Give Dh2 Save 2 Eyes” initiative. As part of this project Lulu will be generating funds to support the “50 Days to Transform 5 Million Lives’ campaign.
