Mohammad Bin Zayed accepts condolences from Rulers
Supreme Council Members pay respects at passing of Shaikh Khalifa
President His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan yesterday accepted the condolences of Their Highnesses, the Federal Supreme Council Members, the Rulers of the Emirates, on the passing of the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at the Al Mushrif Palace yesterday.
Shaikh Mohammad received condolences from His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman; His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain; and His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
Heart-felt sympathy
The reception followed the funeral of Shaikh Khalifa on Friday night. He was laid to rest following nationwide prayers.
Their Highnesses expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the sons of the deceased, the Al Nahyan family, and the people of the UAE on the passing of Shaikh Khalifa.
Also present to offer condolences at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi were Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikh Sultan Bin Ahmad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain; Shaikh Abdullah Bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, along with Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah.
