New Dubai Government identity approved
State entities have six months to transition to the new logo
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, presided over the first meeting of the reconstituted Executive Council.
He approved the Government of Dubai’s new logo and the allocation of Dh40 billion for the ‘Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership’ for 2024-26. He also approved Dubai’s ‘Affordable Housing Policy’ and the ‘Dubai Sandbox’ project, designed to support 100 tech ventures in its initial phase.
“We have revitalised Dubai’s iconic old emblem and adopted it as the new logo for the Government
of Dubai. The new logo symbolises the emirate’s visionary leadership, transformative development journey, and evolution into a city of the future,” Shaikh Hamdan said.
Shaikh Hamdan directed the General Secretariat of the Executive Council to oversee the immediate implementation of the new logo across Dubai’s Government entities. In addition to adopting the new logo, entities will retain their individual logos to reflect their distinctiveness.
The General Secretariat said the entities will have six months to implement the new logo.
Boost for public-private partnership in the country
The Dh40 billion approved for the Dubai Portfolio for PublicPrivate Partnership, will support goals outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33. These include increasing government spending, private sector investment, and foreign direct investment by 2033. This portfolio will be managed by the Department of Finance through Dubai Digital Platforms.
Housing for all
