Due to coincide with Dubai Expo 2020 is the launch of e-Bin, a smart recycling bin powered by solar energy.

Designed by London-based Baharash Bagherian, it will feature integrated touch-screen technology that will enable it to tell the user when it is full and suggest the location of the next nearest e-Bin.

It will also communicate with the recycling company, sending a notification when it is full and needs to be emptied, and it will also tell the user if an item is not suitable for recycling.

The e-Bin will be constructed from sheets of high-quality carbon fibre which will be vacuum-formed, creating a durable, strong, all-weather and lightweight addition to any office.
