The 56th edi­tion of Salone del Mo­bile Mi­lano

(4-9 April) will wel­come more than 300,000 of the world’s top de­sign­ers, ar­chi­tects and in­dus­try ex­perts from over 165 coun­tries to cel­e­brate the top fur­nish­ings, light­ing and ac­ces­sories and workspace de­signs the world – and Italy – has to of­fer.

Five exhibitions will al­low vis­i­tors to ex­plore top prod­ucts and trends from over 200,000 m2 of net ex­hi­bi­tion space that fea­tures more than 2000 ex­hibitors and com­prises: the Salone In­ter­nazionale del Mo­bile; the In­ter­na­tional Fur­nish­ing Ac­ces­sories Ex­hi­bi­tion; Euroluce; Work­place3.0; and SaloneSatel­lite.

The 29th edi­tion of Euroluce fea­tures the theme ‘Light: The fourth di­men­sion of de­sign, strik­ing the bal­ance be­tween func­tion­al­ity and emo­tion­al­ity’. The show will fea­ture more than 39,000 m2 of ex­hi­bi­tion space and 454 top-notch in­dus­try ex­hibitors, and top ex­perts from the res­i­den­tial, hospi­tal­ity, the­atri­cal and other light­ing sec­tors will ex­plore the re­la­tion­ship be­tween top tech trends – such as home au­to­ma­tion, LED and OLED tech­nolo­gies and in­tel­li­gent light­ing sys­tems – and con­scious­ness, mood and the en­vi­ron­ment.

The 18th edi­tion of Work­place3.0 will ex­plore the theme: ‘The workspace of to­mor­row: a new blend of the vir­tual and the phys­i­cal, of shar­ing and in­di­vid­u­al­ity, of in­te­rior and ex­te­rior, of the per­sonal and the so­cial’. Con­ceived as a think tank
