The JA Hatta Fort Ho­tel has un­der­gone a sig­nif­i­cant up­grade, adding the flair of mod­ern Ara­bic de­sign to its in­te­ri­ors.

The JA Re­sorts & Ho­tel prop­erty has been a pop­u­lar des­ti­na­tion for Dubai res­i­dents since open­ing in 1981. And it is hoped that the exclusive re­treat in the Ha­jar Moun­tains, just a ten-minute-drive from the bor­der with Oman, now of­fers a new ex­pe­ri­ence for guests.

The JA Hatta Fort Ho­tel is set in 80 acres of gar­dens and is home to 48 deluxe chalet-style rooms, two suites and two vil­las, all fea­tur­ing ei­ther a pri­vate bal­cony or ter­race.

David Thom­son, Chief Op­er­at­ing Of­fi­cer of JA Re­sorts & Ho­tels, said: “JA Hatta Fort Ho­tel is one of the first ho­tels to be de­vel­oped by JA Re­sorts & Ho­tels and has a spe­cial sen­ti­men­tal value for the group.

“The moderni­sa­tion will en­sure guests en­joy a con­tem­po­rary and com­fort­able ex­pe­ri­ence with­out us al­ter­ing the unique charm of this venue.

“We wanted to re­main true to our Ara­bian roots and at the same time en­chant our guests with a re­freshed look and the heart­felt hos­pi­tal­ity that we are known for.”

Din­ing op­tions in­clude Jeema Restau­rant, a pool bar and Gazebo Café, which over­looks one of two swim­ming pools.

Other fa­cil­i­ties in­clude a gym­na­sium, a field and tar­get archery range, mini-golf course and tennis, as well as a spa plus a chil­dren’s pool and play­ground.
