robatherm’s new head office is located alongside the Munich-Stuttgart motorway and provides showrooms, a restaurant and conference facilities for the 200 engineers and management working there. Designed by HENN, it features a ground floor that has been set into a green soundinsulation embankment. An incision in the compound leads toward the reception, from where an exhibition space, showrooms, technical rooms and the staff restaurant can be reached. The conference level above is set back so that the 100-metre-long three-storey office block extends out. The open, unsupported office floors are flooded with daylight, while employees can enjoy views of the Swabian Alps.
