For his third consecutive year at Dubai Design Days (DDD), Dubaibased Lebanese designer Fadi Sarieddine showcased a furniture line developed as part of a yearlong research study. This year’s exhibition, ‘ Damascus Revisited’, deconstructed the famous Damascene table by probing the traditional relationship between its brass tray and its foldable wooden legs. Sarieddine also presented his Rock ‘ n’ Roll chair, part of the Seed to Seat project for the American Hardwood Export Council, which also exhibited at DDD.
