Design and construction supervision services for Expo Village, which will host visitors and participants for Expo 2020 Dubai, are being provided by KEO International Consultants.

The design, engineering and project management company had previously been commissioned to concept-design the buildings and infrastructure of the entire Expo Village and provide full design and construction supervision of Phase One of the development, which is expected to be delivered by the fourth quarter of 2019.

KEO has already completed the technical design for six parcels and provided the supervision services for piling works of five parcels; the first main contractor has been appointed, with more supervision work underway.

Expo Village is expected to feature around 2300 apartment units that will provide a home for thousands of Expo participants, as well as a school, day care centre and a healthcare facility.

This development is located adjacent to the Expo 2020 destination and consists of 11 plots, each with podium parking and state-of-the-art buildings, to be delivered in two phases.

The Expo Village will be designed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.
