Zabeel House by Jumeirah Al Seef is a new hotel experience on the banks of Dubai Creek.

It caters to travellers who value Jumeirah Group’s award-winning hospitality but are keen to experience it in a more casual and relaxed setting.

Some 200 design-led rooms are offered in three styles – Popular, Plush or Suite – along with four restaurants and bars, pop-up events and a rooftop infinity pool with views across Al Seef and one of the world’s most famous waterways.

Free WiFi has also been provided for visitors, who can expect service from welcoming but unobtrusive staff and will pay from Dhs495 per night in summer and Dhs725 in winter, plus taxes.

In total, there are 181 Popular rooms, including 20 twins and three rooms that cater for disabled guests, 10 Plush rooms and nine Zabeel House Suites.

Visitors can enjoy organic liquid amenities by OSME which are wrapped in certified eco-friendly and biodegradable packaging, workouts at the private gym and a massage at one of the two treatment rooms.

There is also easy access to meeting rooms and creative spaces that are geared towards collaboration, as well as the convenience of being located close to a wide range of embassies and the business district.

The first hotel in Jumeirah’s new ‘ Upscale-Casual’ collection, Zabeel House by Jumeirah Al Seef describes itself as “the basics done brilliantly” and is located in Al Seef, the newest destination by Meraas – which masterminded The Beach, Box Park, City Walk and La Mer.

This two-kilometre promenade of shops and cafes on the south bank of Dubai Creek is where old meets new, as modern architecture blends with the traditional heritage of the emirate.

Next door to Zabeel House by Jumeirah Al Seef is Zabeel House MINI by Jumeirah which accommodates 150 ‘ Pocket’ rooms designed with what is described as “maximum attitude and minimal frills”.

There are some 131 ‘ Standard Pocket’ rooms, including 13 twins and three rooms for disabled guests.

Each bedroom ceiling features a map of Dubai to inspire exploration, while the hotel is also home to a courtyard space aimed at hosting pop-up events and outdoor film screenings, plus two street-food inspired restaurants and easy transport links to Dubai, parks and beaches.

A vending machine has been placed on each floor of Zabeel House MINI, which also boasts two restaurants.

Rates to stay here start at Dhs350 in the summer and Dhs495 in winter, plus taxes.

There are plans for the collection to add another hotel in Dubai, Zabeel House by Jumeirah – The Greens, which is expected to open later this year; as well as a property in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and one in London.
