Homes, such as villas, depend on infiltration as a source of fresh air, but with improvements in the quality of doors and windows, infiltration is minimised, leading to poor indoor air quality. The air continues to re-circulate inside, which reduces the quantity of oxygen in the room. Split air conditioners have no provision for introducing fresh air in the rooms either.
Finpower provides units that can handle fresh air along with recirculated air efficiently. Finpower has low height energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) that introduce fresh air by conserving energy. The use of heat pipes and heat recovery wheels in the fresh air units reduces power consumption, thereby reducing operating costs. The units are designed and manufactured as per local environment requirements and Municipality norms. The units are also certified by Eurovent, tested at TUV Germany and TUV Denmark, and awarded one of the highest ratings for performance.
