Montenegro seeks UAE investments
podgorica — His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met Milo Dukanovic, Prime Minister of Montenegro, at his residence on Monday.
Shaikh Mohammed and Dukanovic exchanged views on the latest international developments of mutual interest and importance of enhancing security and peace in various regions across the world. They also reviewed ways to intensify efforts and human resources in the economic development field to contribute towards the stability of peoples and boost principles of common interest among countries.

In this context, he highlighted the steps taken by the Investment Corporation of Dubai’s (ICD) luxurious nautical-tourist complex and mega-yacht marina Porto Montenegro in Tivat.
He also expressed his government’s desire to attract more Emirati investments, especially from the private sector companies and businesspersons.
Shaikh Mohammed expressed his confidence in the laws and governmental regulations in the Balkan country that protect foreign investment, stressing that the UAE aims to build a balanced economic, tourist and cultural ties with all nations and friendly peoples.
