Public transport timings for New Hijri Year holiday

dubai — The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the timings for its various services, for the upcoming long weekend.

All paid parking zones in Dubai will be free of charge except for the parking lots of the Fish Market and the multi-level parking terminal. The parking fees will be reactivated on October 3, Monday.

On October 1 (Saturday), the Red Line of Dubai Metro will start at 5.30am and continue up to 1am (the next day); and on October 2 (Sunday), it starts at 5.30am to 12 midnight. The Green Line will operate on October 1 from 5.50am and continue up to 1am the next day), and on October 2, from 5.50am to midnight.

The Metro Stations Feeder Bus Service from Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta Mall, Abu Hail, Etisalat, and Dubai Mall-Burj Khalifa stations will operate from 5am to 12.20am during the long weekend. For more timings visit www.khaleejtimes.com
