Pre-Qualification Invitation Main Contract Works

Tawazun Industrial Park LLC, on behalf of Tawazun Safety Security and Disaster Management City LLC (TSSDMC), hereby invite suitable Contractors with commensurate experience to undertake the

Main Contract Works, including Infrastructure for the Jaheziya Development Program or Tawazun Safety Security and Disaster Management City (TSSDMC) Development Program.

Jaheziya is a multi-agency and intra/inter agencies training facility in the fields of safety, security, emergency preparedness and crisis and disaster management. The new site for the TSSDMC development is located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and is situated on Plot 302 in the ICAD IV Industrial Zone along the Mussafah Channel.

The project will cover an area of approximately 100 hectares and will be built as an Integrated Disaster Management City consisting of various training zones and support buildings with a built-up area of approximately 45,000m2. The scope of work includes the civil, structural, architectural works, MEP, finishes, testing/commissioning, external works, hard/soft landscaping. The associated Infrastructure will also form part of the works, including roads, marine works, utility services/connections and a 5 km access road and associated utilities extended to Plot 302.

The work will be carried out in accordance with all the local authority requirements, including obtaining necessary approvals, permits and No Objection Certificates.

Contractors who consider they meet the below criteria can register their Expression of Interest at email: tipprocurement@tip.ae and collect the Pre-Qualification Documentation (PQD) from the Procurement office of Tawazun Industrial Park LLC, in Al Ajban from 30 October 2016 until 10 November 2016 between the hours of 9am to 4pm.

Conditions and Rules:

• Recent experience on projects of similar character and complexity.

• Be a UAE registered Construction Company with an Abu Dhabi Department of Economic

Development “Special or First” classification for buildings and infrastructure.

• Be prepared to be one of a number of short-listed companies willing to submit a construction works tender under a competitive tender process.

• A non-returnable payment (in cash or in the form of a manager’s cheque made payable to

Tawazun Safety Security and Disaster Management City LLC) of AED 5,000 will be required at the time of collection of the PQD.

• Responses to the PQD must be submitted in a sealed envelope no later than 12 noon on 5 December 2016.
