Sharjah National Hotels expects strong Q4 results

dubai — Sharjah National Hotels, which comprises a group of hotels and resorts situated in various picturesqu­e locations in the emirate, has seen positive growth at the end of its third quarter.

Due to the recent introducti­on of group purchasing initiative­s have contribute­d to the overall group improvemen­t of 42 per cent when compared with 2015’s third-quarter growth. Ian Phillips, acting chief executive officer for Sharjah National Hotels, said: “Throughout the third-quarter, the majority of guests staying at Hotel Holiday Internatio­nal, Marbella Resort, and The Oceanic Hotel were travelling from across the UAE and GCC.. Due to the school holiday season, we noticed an increase in the average length of stay for our guests, many of whom were staying three to four nights per visit.”

Sharjah National Hotels are also expecting strong growth in the final quarter of the year. A large number of confirmed bookings from the Sharjah Government, tour operators, exhibition­s and events are already in place, and early indication­s of advanced bookings from Central and Eastern Europe markets are much stronger than last year during the same period.
