Young equestrians asked to join ride against cancer
sharjah — If dispelling of numerous myths surrounding breast cancer is worrying you and want your children or those of your colleagues and friends to follow suit, block your schedules for the ‘Pink Caravan Children’s Ride’, which takes place on March 10 at Desert Palm Dubai.
The horse ride is the main focus of the event and is open to both children and adults, participating with their own horses. All riders will need to pre-register via the online application form through http://www.pinkcaravan.ae/register/children-form.php.
The approximately 6-km ride will end at a finish line decorated with a multitude of pink balloons. Students from Dubai Riding for the Disabled will ride a 1.5-km route.

“To this end, we are organising a horse riding event for both young and adult participants in collaboration with Desert Palm, along with clinical examinations and other activities because we are always eager to work with encourage the youth to take the lead for great causes.” The participants will have access to numerous other activities. A bouncy castle, face painting, photo wall and petting zoo are some of them. A medical team will also be stationed at the venue to conduct awareness lectures for the public.
Parking for horse boxes and trailer will be arranged for at the Desert Palm riding stable. The event will take place from 2pm to 5pm. All riders will receive rosettes from the Pink Caravan.
