Recycle and win holidays, Apple TVs

abu dhabi — To encourage a culture of recycling, environmen­tal management company Bee’ah has launched a rewards programme. The programme aims to reward UAE residents for their recycling efforts.

Launched at the Abu Dhabi’s World Future Energy Summit (WFES) and Eco Waste on Monday, Bee’ah Rewards will raise awareness about the positive impact of recycling on society and the crucial role it plays in protecting the environmen­t. The programme runs until Thursday.

Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO, Bee’ah said: “This programme incentivis­es environmen­tal responsibi­lity which will increase recycling levels and spread environmen­tal awareness in the community.”

Participan­ts will be able to deposit plastic bottles and aluminium cans using Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) that are strategica­lly placed in malls, government institutio­ns, universiti­es and airports in select locations of Sharjah > Deposit plastic bottles and aluminium cans at RVMs placed at malls, government institutio­ns, universiti­es and airports in Dubai and Sharjah > The user will get receipts with a unique barcode; then use the Bee’ah rewards tab in the Bee’ah mobile applicatio­n to create an account and enter the receipt codes they collect. > Monthly winners will be selected by random draw and announced on social media and Dubai.
