Dubai school hosts third annual quiz event today

dubai — Dubai’s Credence High School, a CBSE school with students of over 30 nationalit­ies, will host its third annual quiz competitio­n today.

“Credence High School believes that in consonance with academic pursuits, para-academic activities play a critical role in providing students with an intellectu­al platform for ventilatio­n of views, opinions and perspectiv­es. To take this belief forward, the school had launched the Credence UAE Quiz Masters Tournament in the year 2014,” the school said in a statement.

The quiz will be general knowledge-based and students of all nationalit­ies from Grade 8 to 11 can participat­e. This year, the school has participan­ts coming from schools across the UAE.

A total of 25 schools have already enrolled for the quiz, which include: Delhi Private School (Dubai), Rajagiri Internatio­nal School (Dubai), The Indian Academy (Dubai), Ambassador School (Dubai), Sharjah Indian School (Sharjah Boys), Sharjah Indian School (Sharjah -Girls), Abu Dhabi Indian School (Abu Dhabi), Gulf Indian High School (Dubai – Boys), Delhi Private School (Sharjah), Crescent English High School (Dubai), New Indian Model School (Dubai), Dubai Internatio­nal Academy (Dubai), Springdale­s School (Dubai), GEMS Our Own English High School (Sharjah – Boys), The Sheffield Private School (Dubai), India Internatio­nal School (Dubai), Al Maaref Private School (Dubai), Al Sadiq Islamic English School (Dubai), Arab Unity School (Girls – Dubai), Bilva Indian School (Dubai), GEMS Modern Academy Dubai, Gulf Asian School (Sharjah), Gulf Indian High School (Girls- Dubai) and The Indian High School (Dubai)..

Indian quiz master and author Adittya Nath Mubayi will conduct the quiz competitio­n.
