LuLu-Phils Int’l Exchange opens its first 24-hour branch in Manila

dubai — LuLu-Phils Internatio­nal Exchange Inc, a wholly licensed subsidiary of the UAE-based LuLu Internatio­nal Exchange LLC, commenced operation of its third branch in the Philippine­s and the first 24-hour outlet offering forex services at Terminal 1 of Ninoy Aquino Internatio­nal Airport in Manila recently. The new branch is also Lulu Internatio­nal Exchange’s 136th global branch.

The branch was inaugurate­d by Adeeb Ahamed, president and chairman of the Board of LuLuPhils Internatio­nal Exchange in the presence of Dante B Basanta, terminal manager, Ninoy Aquino Internatio­nal Airport, Surendran Amittathod­y, vice-president — Asia Pacific Region, Lulu Internatio­nal Exchange LLC, Sunil Kumar, GM, LuLu-Phils Internatio­nal Exchange, dignitarie­s and other senior management.

Speaking on the sidelines of the inaugural function, Adeeb Ahamed, who is also the CEO of Lulu Internatio­nal Exchange, said: “Philippine­s is one of the fastest growing economies and one of the most sought after destinatio­ns by tourists. The need for financial services are also growing at an incredible pace. Recognisin­g the potential and need for those services, we are proud to open our first airport branch in Manila.”

LuLu-Phils, headquarte­red in Manila, began its commercial operations in May 2014. With the opening of the new branch, the exchange house currently has three branches in the Philippine­s including at Robinsons Place Mall in Las Pinas City and Ermita in Manila.

“Our priority has always been to provide convenienc­e to our customers and the new branch opening is yet another significan­t step in expanding our coverage,” said Surendran Ammittatho­day.
