What can I do to better myself in one month?

There’s a saying, it takes 21 days to form a habit. Therefore, 30 days is just enough time to see yourself as a better person next month.

Start with a vision

Imagine how would you like to see yourself after a month. Imagine no constraint­s of time and other obstacles.

Write it down

Write all the stuff that is coming to your mind what you would like to see after a month. Here’s a trick, write in simple present tense and be as specific and measurable as possible. This will highly increase your chances of achieving it.

Ask ‘how’?

For every thing you have written to achieve in a month, ask ‘how’ and break it down. For instance, if you want to finish reading 5 books in a month, ask ‘how’ would you achieve it? Like listing the names of the books, devoting an hour of reading each day, etc.

Put a deadline

Once you have broken down all your goals into tasks, put a date against each task.

Plan and Prioritize

Plan each day the night before and each week the weekend before it. Once you have your tasks for the day, prioritize your tasks according to the ABCDE method (based on consequenc­es that a task has) and asking yourself this magical question “If I was allowed to do only one task today, what would be it?” Similarly for two tasks and so on. 3.5K Views, 28 Upvotes
