Man accused of abusing, filming child
dubai — An Emirati man went on trial, accused of sexually abusing a boy and filming him while naked.
The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court of First Instance heard that the man, in his 20s, spotted the boy outside his home in the capital early this year.
He then lured the child into his car after telling him that he wanted help in finding directions to a nearby construction site. The man, however, drove the boy — aged below 10 — to a remote area where he allegedly undressed and assaulted him sexually, by touching him inappropriately.

I noticed a change in my son’s behaviour after the sexual abuse. He was acting confused and started getting agitated.”
Mother of victim
showed that after sexually abusing the child, the man filmed him while naked. “He threatened the boy that he would share the video among his friends on social media, if he told anyone about the incident; he then dropped the child back near his home,” said a prosecutor.
The parents of the child filed a complaint against the man after his mother noticed a change in her son’s behaviour, who had become confused and agitated after the abuse.
“My son told me that the man took him in the car to a deserted area, where he forcibly removed his clothes and sexually abused him,” the mother told authorities. “The boy said the man also took pictures and a video of him while naked and told him not tell anyone about what happened or else he would share the pictures with my sons’ friends.”
Prosecutors had charged the Emirati with sexual assault and threatening the small boy. The young man denied the charges when he appeared in court.
