ADNH pledges Dh3M for Year of Giving

abu dhabi — Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) has pledged Dh3 million in support of Sandooq Al Watan’s activities. Working to implement a holistic and sustainabl­e developmen­t plan in the Emirates, Sandooq Al Watan “reflects the UAE private sector’s commitment to social responsibi­lity, and highlights its innovative ideas and projects”.

Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Sultan Al Dhaheri, vice-chairman of ADNH, said: “We are proud to be supporting Sandooq Al Watan, a commendabl­e national initiative that marks the Year of Giving announced by the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sandooq Al Watan reflects the unity and cohesion of our community, and amplifies the efforts and plans set out to build a better future for the UAE and its people.

“ADNH takes its social responsibi­lities seriously and is committed to the welfare of the community,” he added. “With that in mind, we spare no effort or resources in supporting national initiative­s to reach their strategic objectives, Sandooq Al Watan being a prime example. This reiterates our values and commitment to investing in leading projects that benefit society and create a supportive environmen­t for national talents, in order to build a diversifie­d and sustainabl­e knowledge economy.”

Mohamed Al Qadhi, general manager of Sandooq Al Watan, praised ADNH for its generous contributi­on. “The overwhelmi­ng support we have received at Sandooq Al Watan reflects the UAE business community’s commitment to playing an effective role in the sustainabl­e developmen­t of all sectors,” Al Qadhi noted.
