Heroin in sandals, soft drink bottle

Smugglers desperate to get their contraband across the border stuffed a soft drink bottle and a pair of sandals with heroin but their luck ran out with the border guards BSF stumbling upon the consignment. While 175 gram of heroin was found stuffed in sandals near border out post Khemkaran Kasur in Ferozepur sector, 2kg of the narcotic substance was found in a cold drink bottle concealed in a pipe being used to irrigate fields near Border Out Post Daoke in Amritsar sector on Wednesday.—
