ADCB card for globetrotters

dubai — Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) recently launched its new Traveller Credit Card that promises unique rewards and benefits for the UAE’s globetrotters.

The new credit card is in partnership with MasterCard, Hotels.com and Cleartrip.

Customers will also benefit from a zero per cent bank processing charge on all their purchases overseas, including a complimentary two-night stay upon signing up and up to a sixnight stay on each annual renewal of the card.

Abdul Shakeel, head of retail banking at ADCB, told Khaleej Times that the bank has noticed an increase in the usage of credit card for overseas transactions.

“Consumer spending on credit cards when they are overseas have steadily increased over the years. With fraud protection, charge back rights and increased acceptance of credit card overseas, more and more cardholders felt it is more secure to use credit cards compared against carrying huge amount of cash when they travel,” he said.
