Mathew gets past Jeslin

dubai — Evan Jacob Mathew staved off the challenge from Adam Jeslin in the boys Under-9 singles to move into the second round of the Henna Speedy presents 40th India Club UAE Open Badminton Tournament, at the club’s premises on Wednesday.

Evan Jacob Mathew won a tightly-contested match 2117, 20-22, 21-10. Mitulsaran, Rishith Rajesh and Hariharan Sundarapandian had it relatively easy, going through in straight games.
