Concerts, comedy and more at Abu Dhabi Summer Season
abu dhabi — The Abu Dhabi Summer Season promises maximum ‘fun for all’ with Bollywood concerts, theatre shows, comedy acts, raffle draws and more, for a onemonth period between July 20 to August 20.
The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) has joined forces with the UAE’s top event organisers to roll out a long list of performances including Tom and Jerry theatrical show, Balle Balle —the Big Fat Indian wedding show, Stand Up comedy, the ‘Iftah Ya Sim Sim’ show and a Bollywood concert to celebrate the Indian Independence Day, among others. There will also be raffle draws and other discount offers at malls.

Oberoi Middle East Events founder and chairman Naresh Oberoi promised a magical journey during this summer season, with the Bollywood concert on August 18. “Abu Dhabi is a global destination but the Capital hasn’t seen that many big Bollywood events and celebrities. Keeping the Indian Independence Day on August 15 in mind, the show will be held on August 18. There will be top singers from Bollywood performing and a group of 30 musicians and technicians,” Oberoi added.
