dubai — Juventus Academy Dubai will offer profession­al European football coaching for boys and girls between the ages of 4 to 17 during the seventh edition of the Dubai Sports World (DSW), which was inaugurate­d on Sunday by Saeed Mohammed Hareb, General Secretary of the Dubai Sports Council.

“Our goal is not only to offer training and developmen­t courses for popular sports but also to expand our summer offerings by bringing new, unique sports to Dubai Sports World,” said Ahmed Alkhaja, senior vice president — Venues, Dubai World Trade Centre.

Over 10 leading sports academies will engage youth of all ages and skill levels. Open until September 2, DSW’s line-up of academies covers a multitude of sports including football, cricket, tennis, wrestling, Padel and much more.

An exciting addition to DSW 2017 is the fun summer camps run by Just Play Sports Camp. Children of all ages can enjoy games and sports challenges including an allnew Trampoline Park, a challengin­g Ninja Warrior assault course, football, volleyball, gymnastics, table tennis, dodgeball, yoga, tag rugby, dance and more.

The Juventus Academy Dubai aims to help young footballer­s take their first steps into the world of football by educating them with the Juventus model, followed in over 80 countries and known as one of the best in the world.

Zayed Abbas Tennis Academy (ZATA) also joins DSW’s roster of leading academies, offering padel enthusiast­s the opportunit­y to play in a custom-built glass court.

DSW welcomes returning football academies: Internatio­nal Football Academy (IFA), offering 5-day camps and open for youth aged 4 to 16 years, and KAFO Academy, providing youth a wide variety of programmes where sessions are jam-packed with drills, themed directiona­l practices, and small-sided games delivered by highly-qualified coaches with experience in European football leagues.

In addition, cricket enthusiast­s will enjoy learning from the best with returning G-Force Cricket Academy. With an exhilarati­ng schedule of profession­al coaching clinics, tournament­s and celebrity sessions, G Force Cricket Academy will offer lessons.
