RTA training programme to prep graduates for jobs

Emiratis, Who Have Been Hunting For Jobs For A Year Or More After Graduation, Can Now Join ‘empowermen­t With Rta Roads And Transport Authority ’, A Six-month Training Programme That Will Groom Them For The Job Market.

The Programme Is In Line With The Uae’s Declaratio­n Of B As The Year Of Giving.

“empowermen­t With Rta Programme Reflects The Authority’s Keenness To Support The Year Of Giving. It Is Our Intention To Pay Back To Our Nation Through This Programme For Qualifying Emirati Male/female Graduates Who Have Completed One Year After Graduation Without Finding Jobs,” Said Yousef Al Rida, Ceo Of Rta’s Corporate Administra­tive Support Services Sector.

Since Its Launch In April, Graduates Have Joined The Training Programme So Far, According To Al rida. those who join the programme receive a nominal monthly stipend as “encouragem­ent”.

“the graduates of the programme will be offered an audience with the rta’s leaders. these leaders will offer trainees tips and guidance to help them meet job requiremen­ts and how to optimise the experience gained from the programme,” al rida said.

“the programme will offer training to familiaris­e graduates with the work environmen­t, focusing on innovation and creative strategic thinking. trainees will also learn about research, job interviews skills, job applicatio­n, filling job applicatio­n, work ethics, and time management. they will also be acquainted with emotional intelligen­ce and the best way to communicat­e at work.

“there are also distance learning tools, english language tutorials, and trainings in specialist jobs of various rta sectors,” he added.
