Mohammed Ali Suleiman was feeling depressed. At 30 years old, the Bahraini national had a body weight of 286 kg, and obesity was taking a toll on his health — both mentally and physically. He had tried all the usual ways to lose weight — multiple diets and many exercise regimens — but nothing seemed to work.
