Milano witnesses exceptiona­l growth in sales in first quarter

dubai — Milano, UAE’s leading brand in sanitary, electric, hardware and tiles, has had a successful firsthalf of 2017 as it has increased its sales by 30 per cent in the last six month alone. The increase is credited to the new products launched under the group’s portfolio, which includes variants of water purifiers, water heaters, switches and furniture fitting, amongst others.

Within the GCC markets, Milano has witnesses an increase in demand of different product lines, which has grown immensely by being utilised in all major projects across the region. Major sales are conducted directed to contracts, suppliers and are also available at all the Danube Home showrooms in the Middle East.

Speaking about the growth, Anis Sajan, managing director of Danube Group, said: “I am extremely pleased with the 30 per cent increase in the sales growth rate, which moves us closer to our goal and yearly targets. The figures prove, that we have en- joyed a good reputation in the market and have establishe­d a long-term relationsh­ip with our clients. We look forward to a good year ahead and expect to reach our target before our set timelines.”

have shown a sharp increase in sales from the first half of 2017 as compared to first half of 2016. “I expect the sales of the Milano water heaters to double starting September as we usually see that the demand for them increase closer to the winter season in the local and export market,” he added.

As a result of the brands strategy and contracts won in 2016 and 2017, Milano expects that turnover will increase substantia­lly in coming years. The company projects that its turnover will be more than double by the year 2020 and aims to launch new products in the coming future.
