Abu Dhabi police keep us secure, make us proud

-

Security is a major factor that draws people to a country or city. Development staggers without peace and stability and police have a major role to play in ensuring the safety of a happy and progressive society. The men and women in uniform have done us proud. They are the guardians of progress, so to speak, and Abu Dhabi and Dubai are fine examples of cities that are well policed. The two cities have among the lowest crime rates in the world and feature regularly among the top in surveys on the safest cities. Our report on Abu Dhabi police and security explains why residents have no reason to fear in the capital. The country is making the best use of technology in every possible way, and police are equipped with the latest gadgets, including the fastest cars in the world, and robots. The government and leadership is always thinking of ways to make lives happier and simpler. Where else in the world can you pack your bags off for more than a month or so, and yet be assured of the safety of the house and belongings?

The UAE is a young country but its achievements in various sectors are because there is security and peace. Progressive laws keep it ahead of the pack. How else would one explain the meteoric rise of the country in just a matter of a few decades? Many expatriates call it home because the police are watching their back. What’s striking here is that policing is humane, privacy is protected and crimes are solved quickly and the culprits are brought to book without delay. A technologically superior police force keeps it real by engaging with residents. Police are patrolling the streets on cars, bicycles and even on horseback. They are on social media to track crime and punish the bad guys. They are a smart posse of men and women who put their lives on the line to defend us, our families and businesses. They are present when we need them. They are smart and bringing the best of global safety practices. This is one force that never sleeps. May the force be with them.
