Now, pay your utility bills in installmen­ts in Dubai

dubai — The Dubai Electricit­y and Water Authority (Dewa) has signed an agreement with Emirates NBD, enabling the bank’s customers to pay their bills in instalment­s up to 12 months, with no interest or extra charge. To use this service, customers must pay bills of Dh500 or more using an Emirates NBD credit card.

NBD has introduced innovative services that simplify and improve the lives of the city’s residents. We are delighted to empower customers with the option of paying their Dewa bills in interest-free instalment­s via digital platforms, bringing them greater convenienc­e and flexibilit­y,” said Abdulla Qassem, group chief operating officer of Emirates NBD.

The new applicatio­n allows payment of bills in instalment­s of up to 12 months, for customers using Emirates NBD credit cards, with no interest or extra fees. This process can be done through Emirates NBD’s online or mobile banking or on its smart applicatio­n, to offer customers the option of choosing an instalment payment plan. Customers can also opt for this service by contacting the bank’s customer service on 800 ENBD (3623).
