dubai — The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has announced that Modhesh World will be extended until the Eid Al Adha vacations, ending on September 3, three weeks after the original closing on August 12.

New attractions will also be added, exclusive for the final three weeks of the park at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), alongside existing rides, games, workshops, live performances and the all-new food park arena.

“The ongoing edition of Modhesh World has received an incredible response from visitors, and we thought that there is no better way to reward their support than by giving them more of what they have come to love. Extending Modhesh World, especially during Eid holidays, will also give those UAE-based families who missed out on it before due to travel commitments, a chance to visit,” said Suhaila Saqer Obaid Ghubash, director of Festivals and Events, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).

The Modhesh World allows visitors to navigate seamlessly through the park. Its attractions are classified into distinct zones that occupy DWTC’s separate halls.

Zone 1 of the Modhesh World hosts the all-new ‘Food Park DXB’ with over 20 curated food trucks serving mouthwatering, nutritious food. Exciting VR games and techinfused rides are star attractions in ‘Road to Future’ in Zone 2, while the adrenaline-driving rides and traditional arcade games where winners get redemption coupons for free gifts are in ‘Amusement Street’ (Zone 3) and ‘Winners’ Circle’ (Hall 4).

Zone 5 is ‘Back to Nature’, featuring active, traditional games; Zone 6’s ‘Show Town’ is an entertainment hub.

Also, Show Town’s final week roster will see ‘Modhesh Roller Show’ with performers doing breathtaking acrobats, freestyle skating and breakdancing based on a plot of hunting down a BMXriding ice-cream thief. Children are immersed into the energetic atmosphere with lessons on friendship, forgiveness, and of fighting unfair practices.

The Modhesh mascot will meet and greet his fans at dedicated times of the day.
