How did you hear about the scholarship opportunity?

My parents first heard the news while listening to the radio. We then got in touch with the KHDA for more information, and applied online.

My parents, family members and mostly my aunt encouraged me to move to a new school where all the subjects are taught in English.

Because I think it will be a good challenge. I am shifting from a government school where we only learn English as second language, but I am excited for the new experience. Right now I am experiencing many feelings, I’m sad that I will not see my friends anymore in school, but I’m happy to meet new friends.

I was shocked, happy, excited, I had all kind of expressions on my face and I truly can’t wait for school to begin.

My plan is to complete my studies in high school and university, then I want to become an astronomer and join the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC).

Right now I am experiencing many feelings, I’m sad that I will not see my friends anymore in school, but I’m happy to meet new friends.”
