Brothers stab man to death in mall parking

dubai — Two businessme­n brothers have been referred to Dubai Police for stabbing a compatriot to death at a shopping mall’s parking lot in Hor Al Anz area, Dubai

The police chased the Pakistani suspects — K. O and L.A — and arrested them from Al Ain as they were attempting to flee the country.

A witness informed the incident to the operation room of the Dubai Police who rushed the heavily bleeding man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The informer told the police he found the ground covered with blood stains and found the two suspects trying to drag the victim to a car. When they saw the complainan­t they fled the scene leaving the body behind.

The 53-year-old victim, also a businessma­n, was stabbed on different parts of the body and some money was found in his pocket. The complainan­t gave the descriptio­n of the Asians and the police immediatel­y launched a manhunt. The police learnt that the first suspect was living in Naif area and raided his house. On the day of the incident, they went to the victim’s office and told him to return Dh650,000 to them. However, the victim asked them to pay another Dh150,000 in order to complete the transactio­n.

After that, they drove to the mall and at the parking area a heated argument happened between the first suspect and the victim.

When the victim got out of the car, the first suspect went after him and stabbed him many times until he fell on the ground.

Then the second suspect also alighted from the car and helped his brother to drag the body of the victim to the car. Seeing the guard, they fled the scene and drove to their home, changed clothes and hired a taxi to Al Ain with a plan to flee the country. The two brothers have two business firms, and one of them in the mall.
