You’ll be fined for not moving car after crash

abu dhabi — motorists who FAIL to move THEIR cars from THE roads AFTER GETTING involved in minor ACCIDENTS will BE fined dh500 starting in DECEMBER, announced THE traffic police in ABU DHABI.

THE ABU DHABI traffic AND patrols DIRECTORAT­E SAID on saturday that from DECEMBER 1, THE police will start slapping fines for blocking traffic on drivers who do not move THEIR cars to THE SIDE of THE road AFTER minor ACCIDENTS. THE move is INTENDED to allow THE smooth flow of traffic AND to AVOID further ACCIDENTS.

THE law, WHICH will BE implemente­d in coordinati­on with SAAED, is in ACCORDANCE with THE MINISTERIA­L resolution no 178 of 2017, on THE rules AND procedures of traffic control AND in REGARD to blocking traffic, WHICH stipulates A penalty of dh500 for offenders.
