“The unique design of the Sharjah Beach will make it one of the most popular leisure destinations in the Emirate where the whole family can relax and participate in various recreational activities along the beach,” Al Ali said.
The project consists of a number of public squares, cycling routes, walking areas, dining zones, shaded areas, along places for water sports activities along the beach. The project also provides all necessary facilities required for visitors such as changing facilities, prayer places, and multiple parking areas for approximately 1,100 vehicles on both sides of the road.
“To meet the needs of a healthy lifestyle, the beach promenade offers different areas for walking, as well as a bicycle lane, which will be linked to a future integrated citywide network. Additionally, a seating wall will span most of the project offering a place for viewing the sea and relaxation,” he explained.
