Heera Group to back T10 Cricket League

hyderabad — The UAE, a land of innovations is all set to welcome yet another this winter. Come Dec. 14 and the game of cricket would have transformed forever.

Fans can now see cricket’s own version of 90-minute contests lasting 10-overs-a-side in a new entertaining tournament, titled T10 Cricket League (TCL). The entire tournament will be as swift as the format lasting just four days from Dec. 14-17, filled with entertainment both on and off the field as rivalry rekindled amongst South Asian cricket superstars.

Backing the tournament wholeheartedly as the title sponsor will be Hyderabad’s very own Heera Group, an innovator in its own right in the field of business. The partnership was unveiled at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad as part of the Indywood Film Festival at the film city on Saturday night. The launch also saw the attendance of representatives of the franchises and the high profile wrestler The Great Khali.

Six franchises-Punjabi Legends, Pakhtoons, Maratha Arabians, Bengal Tigers, Team Sri Lanka Cricket, and Kerala Kingsbased entirely on the South Asian region with their icon players will be seen in action during the tournament.

It is only befitting that such an innovative approach is unveiled in a historic setting in the UAE and nothing fits this bill better than the Guiness Record holder, Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
